Our Courses

We offer courses tailored to the individual, which may include any of the following:

Preparation for City & Guilds 7750, including theory
Grooming techniques for pet owners
Refresher course for existing groomers
Preparation for the show dog
Grooming for a living
Hand Stripping
Styling all breeds including Poodles and the Bichon Frise
Any combination of the above

All our training is to City & Guilds level, but please be aware that it is not recommended that you apply to do your City & Guilds examination (which is the ONLY recognised qualification in dog grooming) until you have had at lead 18 months working in the industry. We can supply all of the information regarding the exam which is run through the Pet Care Trust as we are a member.

Under expert guidelines from our experienced tutor, you can explore the various skills required for grooming dogs; whether for a future professional career or just simply for the pleasure and satisfaction of preparing and caring for your own pet.
