We appreciate your interest in Scruffy Pups Training School. The Professional Groomer is in great demand in this country due to the ever increasing number of dogs as our best friends.

On completion of this course you have the opportunity to start your own profitable pet grooming business and enjoy being your own boss. Alternatively you could find employment in a grooming salon, vets, pet shop, kennels and much more.

It is imperative before commencing on this exciting journey that you obtain the best possible training available. Suddenly there has been many so called teachers springing up willing to show you this profession.... Please beware. A large number of our past students have gone on to run very successful and profitable businesses and they will be happy to speak to you by arrangement so you can confirm this with them.

All of our training is to City & Guilds level, but please be aware that it is not recommended that you apply to do your City & Guilds examination (which is the ONLY recognised qualification in dog grooming) until you have had at least 18 months working in the industry. We can supply all of the information regarding this exam which is run through the Pet Care Trust as we are a member.
